BTS: la prima boy band sudcoreana

BTS, si è formata nel 2013 a Seul dal produttore Bang Si Hyuk.

La band è composta da:

• RM (Kim Nam-joon), team leader e rapper;
• Jin (Kim Seok-jin), cantante;
• Suga (Min Yoon-gi), rapper;
• J-Hope (Jung Ho-seok), rapper e coreografo;
• Park Ji-min, cantante e coreografo del gruppo;
• V (Kim Tae-hyung), cantante;
• Jungkook (Jeon Jung-kook), cantante, rapper e coreografo.

La loro musica è un mix tra pop-dance e hip hop.

La band giugno 2022 si è dichiarata  in “pausa” a causa del servizio militare obbligatorio in Corea.

«I membri dei BTS stanno attualmente portando avanti i piani per adempiere al loro servizio militare. Il membro del gruppo Jin inizierà non appena gli impegni per la pubblicazione del disco da solista saranno conclusi, alla fine di ottobre. Seguirà quindi la procedura di arruolamento del governo coreano. Gli altri membri del gruppo hanno in programma di svolgere il servizio militare in base ai loro piani individuali»Bighit Music
